Student packing eggs for shipmentIn addition to enterprise opportunities, students can also apply for positions at the Poultry Unit. Two or three students are generally hired each year to work at the Poultry Unit. Housing is available for these students and the animal science department has recently added housing for four more students, creating housing for six to seven students. To be eligible for a position, students should have taken at least PM 225. These positions provide students the opportunity to put their learning to use while gaining valuable on-the-job skills.
